As July 4th draws near, the spirit of freedom fills the air, and we reflect on the courage of those who paved the way for our liberties. Join us in Morgan Hill as we honor our nation's 248th birthday with a celebration like no other.
Step into the heart of our city, where history meets excitement and traditions unite us all. For nearly 150 years, Morgan Hill has been the proud home of the July 4th parade and festivities, orchestrated by the tireless efforts of the Freedom Fest organization.
The festivities kick off on the evening of July 3rd with our Patriotic Sing, during which young voices can be heard throughout the Downtown Amphitheatre. Immediately following, enjoy the Family Music Fest, during which the Downtown comes alive with music and entertainment for every generation.
On the morning of July 4th, rise and shine and strap on your running shoes for the 5k Freedom Run, or join the kids for a lively 1-mile fun run along the parade route. At 10:00 a.m., the parade begins, and onlookers enjoy dancing horses, singers, bands, and more than 100 other floats and entries. The day's festivities culminate with the anticipated and awe-inspiring fireworks display at the Outdoor Sports Center later that evening.
