Main Stage East 4th Street and Monterey Road
Meet your new favorite band – Extra Large! Voted Best Local Band in Santa Cruz County nine times running, this high-energy six-piece has built a devoted following up and down the California coast with a feel-good blend of funk, reggae, Latin, rock, and soul that is flat-out impossible to resist. Their motto?
They dare you to dance. Fair warning: you will. Extra Large plays mostly Santa Cruz venues, making their Freedom Fest appearance a rare treat for South County audiences. Whether you're a Family Music Fest veteran or experiencing it for the first time, Extra Large has the perfect sound to kick off your Independence Day Celebration at the 4th Street Stage on July 3rd.

DJ Guy of Massive Sounds will be laying down tracks on Family Music Fest's 2nd Street Stage on July 3rd, bringing the perfect soundtrack to a summer evening on Monterey Road.
With over 20 years of experience spinning everything from salsa and merengue to the latest top hits, DJ Guy has a gift for reading a crowd and keeping people on their feet. Fun without being cheesy, energetic without being overwhelming — wherever you plant yourself along the route, DJ Guy will make sure the whole family is having a great time!

Welcome back the Country Cougars to the 5th Street Stage, sponsored by Bubbles & Brew! This hot rockin' country band is one of Northern California's favorites — and it's easy to see why.
From Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Zac Brown, Kenny Chesney and Eric Church to country legends Johnny Cash, Patty Loveless, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and more, they cover it all with the kind of energy that gets the crowd on their feet and ready to party.
