In honor of the highly anticipated 150th celebration, Freedom Fest is absolutely thrilled to announce a very special opportunity for both kids and adults alike. Each and every year, dedicated pony express riders transport around 1,000 pieces of mail along the historic original pony express route, which spans an impressive 1,800 miles and crosses through 8 different states. This year, in a remarkable twist, two of those talented riders are going to participate in the exciting 150th anniversary parade.

To further commemorate this significant anniversary, YOU will have the wonderful opportunity to write out a postcard that will be carried in the parade and subsequently mailed to your chosen destination.

Working in collaboration with the Postmaster General, those personalized postcards will receive a commemorative stamp, ensuring they are officially recognized before being sent off. Postcards will be readily available starting June 1st at BookSmart, during the Friday Night music events at the Freedom Fest booth, AND on July 3rd at the Family Music Fest.

This engaging and fun opportunity is open to both children and adults! Embrace this unique chance to be a part of history in the making.
