History

In 1989, Morgan Hill residents Dr. Ronald Mackley and Hal Hendrickson revived the Sing to teach the nation's treasured songs to local children. Held on the eve of the 4th of July, the Sing continues today, with chorus members learning traditional songs and reinventing the event.

The Sing has helped our children honor Armed Forces sacrifices. For thirty years, we’ve watched its evolution, now with second-generation members! In 2015, we moved to the Morgan Hill Community Cultural Center Amphitheater, a perfect venue for celebrating our hometown 4th of July.
