“Morgan Hill Parade”
The summer’s fresh air is what wakes me up. That morning was such a special day to me. American culture is so important to me. The 4th of July has always been important to the United States. As soon as I arrived, I could feel my emotion in the air. Every family had smiles on their faces. Something about the 4th of July makes it really special and it feels like a time to really connect with others. I was looking forward to this parade and it did not disappoint me whatsoever.
The Fourth of July is more than a historical milestone that made the Declaration of Independence. It was adopted in July 1776. As I stood on the side of the road, I could feel the warmth on my skin. I was in the hot sun when they passed out popsicles, nothing could make this day better. This is one of the little things I enjoyed that made my day even more special.
As the parade concluded, I was so glad people were waving American flags, clapping, cheering and were so happy. Some people even got up and danced along to the music. Other people danced along too and joined in. I saw lots of people I knew, friends and family. As everyone was chanting along to the music the horses came along. They were walking down the street like they owned it! Some of these horses were special ones that had tiny American flags on their manes. It was like a big group of people gathered for the same reason. It was a day filled with joy and happiness.
Why is it important to me? The Fourth of July is important to me as an American citizen. It is a celebration of history, freedom, and unity. It is a day to remember the people who fought for the independence we fought for and enjoy today. It is such an important historical event that the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence.
This day was so memorable because I rarely see fireworks. They only happen once a year and that is my favorite time of the year.
In conclusion, the Fourth of July is more than just a day of fireworks and celebrations, it is a time to reflect on the values of freedom, independence, and unity that define the United States. The Fourth of July is a powerful reminder of our shared history and importance. It honors the sacrifices of those who fought for liberty.
